Q: What options do students have for ordering textbooks?

A: Students are responsible for ordering textbooks for their courses. Schools and Universities utilize many different models: Student responsible for buying from vendor of his/her choice, books included in tuition, opt-out rental program (like Greenville used to administer with Tree of Life, our former textbook partner), or have campus bookstores. In today's age of internet shopping and the desire for choice, Greenville has partnered with eCampus.com, a leader in college textbook programs.

While eCampus is our official partner, you are free to purchase or rent from any vendor you wish. Please feel free to shop around and find the right option for you. eCampus provides many options to students. They offer book rentals, ebooks, used books, and new books. We encourage you to search their options so that you can make an informed decision.

Q: How do I locate the textbook information and ISBN numbers for my courses?

A: This information is provided in the eCampus portal.

Q: Where will my books be shipped if I purchase or rent from eCampus?

Q: Where can I learn more details about the service and resources available through eCampus?

A: eCampus maintains their own FAQ and Help Desk. Please feel free to view their most recent information here.

Q: I'm an international Student. Does the eCampus web portal work outside of the United States?

A: eCampus.com is available internationally. Greenville has performed some testing and researched eCampus's international presence. As a company, they work with many large schools and universities and have had good success providing service to international students.

Q: What do I do if I add or drop a course and I have already received my textbooks from eCampus?

A:  eCampus has a Textbook Guarantee.  You can return your rental/purchase for any reason within 30 days of receiving it.  You will receive a refund, but will be charged a 10% restocking fee.  To return the textbooks, just go through the return process, and ship the textbooks back to eCampus.  You can order your new textbook online, or at the eCampus ordering kiosk located in Greenville Central.

Q: Will I receive a refund for my books if I return them?

A: You can return your textbooks to eCampus within 30 days of the course start date.  A 10% restocking fee will be added when you return your books within these 30 days.  Return shipping charges will apply, but you can print a prepaid shipping label from the "MyAccount" section of the Virtual Bookstore and have this label fee deducted from your return.  Credits will be issued back to the original method of payment once the items have been received at the eCampus warehouse.
