Students Moving Out Late in May

Note: This does not apply to students approved for summer housing.

Summer Housing

The summer housing application process begins in mid to late April through email from [email protected]Once the student has filled out the application for summer housing, the Housing Coordinator may approve or deny the application. Upon approval, the Housing Coordinator will provide details about summer housing through email, and it will be reflected on the student’s my.greenville. Students will be paired together into double or triple rooms in the designated summer housing residence hall by the Housing Coordinator. If students have a roommate in mind that they would like to have over the summer, they may provide their request on the summer housing application.

Summer Housing is limited, so it will be first come, first served, and requests for summer housing will be filled at the discretion of the Housing Coordinator. The Housing Coordinator will do everything in their power to offer access to a kitchen to students staying in summer housing, but this is not guaranteed. To be eligible for Summer Housing, students must be registered for fall classes and the student cannot have a hold on their student account. Note: there are certain student conduct issues that could lead to loss of break housing privileges.

Pricing for summer housing is broken down below. It is important to note that the fee for summer housing is not prorated and student belongings being present in their summer room even one evening in the month will result in the full charge for the month being applied to the student’s account. If student’s belongings are in their summer housing room, but student isnot – the student will still be charged for the room as GU does not store student belongings over the summer break.

  • May: $225
